I bike, and I live in an apartment. The co-habitation of these two things is difficult at best. Unfortunetely bikes are large, and space wasting. Being limited on living space forces you to become creative with organization. I was tired of constantly moving my bikes from room to room based on my space needs at the time. Since apartments don't allow drilling into walls, wall mounted systems were out of the question. Not only is storage for bikes needed, but organization of bike supplies as well. A self contained bike organization system was in order.

I came up with this concept while sitting on lunch, I wanted to see what it would look like, so I sketched on the only thing I had, my lunch bag.

I am currently working on refining the location of parts within Lagerung. I also am trying to reduce packing size for shipping since these will be shipped to, and then built by the consumers.

This is a current rough draft of the final model. There is two hangers on either side for bikes. In the middle there is a drawer and two shelves for bike accessories. The Lagerung also has a rod for hanging your bike clothes.
