Rick Bayless’ newest restaurant in the Willis Tower needed a unique and creative design for their furniture. They came to Crow Works with an idea of two chairs just as loud and fun as their food. We created vibrant products giving people a comfortable refuge while biting into a killer crispy chicken milanesa torta.

We worked with them on the design to make the chairs live cohesively without one being overtaken by the other. Their request for louder furniture allowed us to have some fun and throw “inhibition to the wind”.

We were strategic in creating pieces that would not get lost in the noise of the restaurant but rather stand out as another layer of thoughtful design within the space.
